Anime In Focus: The Fancy Weapons

Posted by: Dungeon Knight   in General Stuff

ew1018 Anime In Focus: The Fancy WeaponsThere are so many reasons why anime heroes are well loved and appreciated by the global public. First of course is their beautiful facial features, although exaggerated, that give out very powerful reactions when needed. The tiny mouth can give out a powerful scream if needed. Then of course there is the fashionable outfits that will give any rock star and Hollywood star a run for their money. The outfits will invariably be short skirts for the girls, and military-like jackets for the boys. All outfits will showcase the curvaceous and muscular bodies of the anime heroes but at the same time, these outfits will enable them to move freely and fight with any enemy when needed. And then, of course, no one can deny the presence of swords, anime swords like the Guild Wars - Gaert’s Sword to be exact. These swords are what is essential in the anime hero’s plight towards greatness. Depending on how great a swordsman he is, an anime hero can be one of the greatest heroes in the land. Some fighters even go the extreme and fight with three swords and this form of fighting is called santoryu. One sword is held on the left hand, another is held on the right hand, and yet another is held by the mouth! Yes, this form of fighting is no easy task, and it requires a truly expert swordfighter to pull it off. But this exists, because there are some anime santoryu in the world.

Anime In Focus: The Exaggerated Facial Features

ew1015 Anime In Focus: The Exaggerated Facial Features

What makes anime heroes very much well-loved by the public? Is it their fancy, fashionable outfits, giving them the heartthrob status for males and the sweetheart status for females. Is it their very powerful anime swords like the God Of War Kratos Blade of Chaos that give them that air of superiority over everybody else? Those swords certainly give a contrast to the anime characters, those lithe bodies that seem to be very graceful take on a whole new different form when they start yielding those powerful swords. Or is it the very beautiful facial features of the anime heroes that endear them to the public? Men and women, they look truly beautiful, and there are some characteristics that are common to both male and female anime heroes. The first facial feature that cannot be ignored is the eyes. Anime eyes are really very big, almost dominating the entire face of the characters. They are usually almond-shaped but they are exaggeratedly big. These eyes, perhaps because of their size, can really produce a well of tears when they cry. Of course that is exaggerating but they do well up. Another outstanding facial feature that gives contrast to those big eyes are the very small pouty lips. Do not be fooled, however, with these tiny lips, since those lips can give out a scream when needed. Again the size of the mouth is exaggerated, this time exaggeratingly small. The last unique facial feature is the hair. The hair of course is equally exaggerated, it will be longish and it will be very flowing, moving with wind in every whisper.

Because of its very widely spread popularity, it has developed a sort of pop culture where people want to look like the anime heroes they so love. Anime heroes always stand out – they stand out in the animation world and if copied, they will certainly stand out in the real world. That is because anime heroes are always dressed very fashionably, carry their swords with extreme confidence, and are always good-looking. anime swords like Captain Monkey D Luffy Replica Swords are very efficient swords and they serve the purpose of fighting a battle while at the same time giving the heroes a mighty air. Anime heroes are also very fit, that is why they carry their clothes and outfits very well. No anime hero is fat, or out of shape. This is of course necessary, if they plan on fighting dozens of enemies, chasing the culprits, and performing those stunts that make anime heroes truly remarkable warriors. Costume players, or cosplayers as they are known, those who like to dress up like their favorite animation characters, need to have curvaceous bodies if they want to dress up like their favorite anime hero. Having so will enable them to wear the outfits better, making them look like a real anime character.

Cosplay Tip 4: Get The Right Swords

Posted by: Dungeon Knight   in General Stuff

aw037 Cosplay Tip 4: Get The Right Swords

Without further explanation, it should be stated that a good cosplay is not complete without anime swords like the Sasuke Wooden Sword. Swords are very important when it comes to battles, since skills can only go a long way if not coupled with the right weapon. Swords can determine the outcome of the battle and many anime heroes are known for their sword-fighting skills and capabilities. Some even fight with three swords – one on the left hand, one on the right and one on the mouth. This style of fighting is called the santoryu and only the most skilled of sword wielders can carry out this stint. Of course, this is not necessary when you do cosplay. You can be the greatest swordfighter in the world and noone will question your skill in swordfighting, or your choice of anime hero. Cosplay, after all, recognizes that people are creative and liberal, and that role playing is a very healthy outlet for adults. Cosplay only requires that you get the outfit right, and you get your swords right. It will also help, of course, if you take your role playing to a higher level by mimicking the gestures and mannerisms of your favorite anime hero. This can be done through research and watching repeatedly videos of your favorite anime, even playing computer games featuring them. Repetition is always key to memorizing things and the same can be said about memorizing anime actions. But first, you need to get your swords right.

Cosplay Tip 3: Do Your Research

em0054 Cosplay Tip 3: Do Your Research

Cosplaying is not an underground sport, nor is it dangerous. It is just good old costume playing, hence the term “cosplay”. In cosplay, adults dress up as their favorite hero character and they sometimes reenact scenes from a movie or create something on their own. This is the adult’s version of “play pretend’ or role-playing games children so love to do, albeit more expensive. You’d need costumes, swords, anime swords like  Yubashiri First Sword of Zolo-Replica and of course you need to connect with other cosplayers. If you are not sure on how to dress up, worry not. The internet is a treasure of information when it comes to topics like these so you just need to search for “anime images” and you will get a lot of pictures showing different anime characters. Anime characters are always dressed differently so you really need to do your research and find similar items of clothing so that you can look like a real anime character. One thing is common, though, among anime characters, and that is they are all sexy. The women are slender and voluptuous while the men are muscular and lithe at the same time. You might also want to take it one step further by talking and acting like your favorite characters and this you can do by watching episodes of the anime show you love and try to mimic the actions, gestures and manner of speaking of your favorite character. You can even sound like them, if you so wish, just watch the videos over and over again until you feel yourself starting to talk like an anime warrior.

Cosplay Tip 2: Expand Your Network

ew0122 Cosplay Tip 2: Expand Your Network

Cosplaying is fun, it encourages creativity and the childlike spirit of being innocent and happy with simple things and the idea of play. Of course, cosplaying is much more expensive than ordinary games played as a child, because cosplaying requires some swords, anime swords to be exact like the Sword of Calamiy From InuYasha Anime Show (Replica), for example. But there are also added benefits to participating in cosplays and that is your network of friends is expanded. Sure, at first you need to actively seek out and expand your network, but give it a little time and you will have too many friends without you really doing anything. When you attend cosplay eyeballs, there are certainly hundreds of like-minded people, you get to chat with them, exchange mobile numbers and email addresses, and pretty soon you will be friends in Facebook and soon you are inviting each other to dinner or bar hopping with other cosplayers. Or you get to meet the friend of a friend and soon after you are friends with him, then you meet his friend and the cycle continues on. There is nothing wrong with this, and in fact this is healthy. The people you meet through cosplays may be people who become your closest friends in life whom you run to when you are in trouble. Or they are the ones who cheer you up when you are feeling specially low. Most of all, you can now go to cosplay eyeballs as a group.

Cosplaying is a fun thing to do, and that is why it has a very large following worldwide. Children and adults, men and women alike have their own cosplay fantasies and they do not mind spending time, effort and money on fulfilling these fantasies. One of the most, if not the most, popular cosplay themes is anime, and this is highly understandable. Anime characters are standouts, with their unique look and outrageous, extravagant appearances. Very big eyes that literally well up when they cry, long wavy hair that sways with the blowing of the wind, super small mouth that will surprise you with a very deafening shout. To be successful at cosplay, you need to get the right clothes, of course. This will entail some super short skirts for women and military jackets for men. Swords, anime swords in particular like the Renji Abarai Samurai Zabimaru Bleach Anime Katana Sword - Burgundy is a must, since no anime hero goes without a weapon. The dresses will always be exaggerated so perhaps a big button there, a shiny medal there. Long socks and school shoes are also musts for women cosplayers, as well as pony tails and braids. Favorite Movie: Lord of the Rings

Franchises are a dime a dozen and there are many successful franchises throughout the movie history. A successful franchise requires a good combination of an interesting story, complex characters, a good dosage of humor, some drama for background, a love story perhaps on the side, and of course the obligatory action scenes. The Lord of the Rings is all these and more, and its one plus factor, apart from its characters that are really a product of a very imaginative mind, is its wonderful landscapes and cinematography. Viewers worldwide are taken into this make believe world where there seems to be peace and harmony, yet at the same time, they are also transported to several lands where there is eternal darkness and evil seems to reek in every corner and stop. As is always the case with franchises, the lead character is a simpleton who is destined for greatness, and many people sacrifice their lives for him and the task he is meant to fulfill. He may not be a strongman, but he will always be brave. And he is surrounded by warriors who will pledge their undying allegiance to him, even if it takes their very lives. Such is the case with the Lord of the Rings and we all saw how Frodo changed from a simple human to someone who stopped evil from reigning supreme in the entire land. One of his strongmen is of course Gimli, and you can have a taste of what it’s like to be Gimli with The Lord of the Rings – the Helm of Gimli, available online from the Lord of the Rings Swords line, sold alongside movie swords.

Favorite Movie: Iron Man

Posted by: Dungeon Knight   in General Stuff

thumbnail dknight 88500412598177234b174afbcb475 Favorite Movie: Iron Man

Iron Man 2 has recently been shown and there are mixed reviews about the latest installment of this franchise. We can certainly expect that there will be others to follow, whether or not it is another Iron Man movie, or the Avengers. In this installment, Tony Spark has made his Iron Man figure very public, and as is always the case, together with the adulation came the personal battles within himself. Most superheroes has this battle – when their humanity comes into the surface and they are painted as somewhat selfish, prioritizing himself rather than performing his task to serve the public. Superman had this moment and fell in love with Louis Lane, Spiderman had it, too, and it gave way to the Venom. Tony Spark, being just a human anyway without superpowers, albeit aided by very high-tech gadgets, comes to confront his humanity by seeking cure for a disease that seems to be brought upon by his armor. Nevertheless, the world still needs heroes like Iron Man, who can privatize world peace, as he claims he had. Without Iron Man, the world will be helpless against creatures that intend to destroy the world due to their many frustrations in life. Show your appreciation for Iron Man by adding some Iron Man movie replicas to your movie swords collection. These replicas are really very much like the originals, and the Iron Man Helmet Gold for one, is even sized like its original counterpart. So you can put it on sometimes and feel like Tony Spark and maybe you, too, can make the world a peaceful place.
