Oh those magnificent six pack abs, and rippling leg muscles! For many women the costumes worn by the actor’s portrayals of the Spartan King Leonidas, and his mighty warriors in the movie “300” were worth every bit of blood and gore they had to sit through during the movie. If all men looked like that during battle, more women would go to watch them to fight. Then again if all men looked like that there would be fewer battles, because they would be too busy at home. Those bright red briefs they wore represented the color favored by Spartans; they were put to magnificent use by the costume department. They are actually not a true representation of Spartan battle wear, since the Spartans fought in the nude. Since the censors were not going to allow that, they had to come up with an appropriate costume that would still allow the highly toned body’s of the warriors to be shown. The briefs worked out very well in that case. For men the rippling bodies of muscle were simply seen as the way a warrior should look in hand to hand combat that lasted for days at a time. Perhaps it even inspired a few to go back to the gym for some added sculpting of their own. In the 300 movie replicas collection from Dungeonknight.com, you can order a pair of these 300 Briefs; and see just how well you stack up against King Leonidas and his mighty “300” warriors. You might be surprised at how well you pull it off.
